Lighting Ball

Lighting ball is a sidelight that was born from the reusing concept and the need to bring alive a playful symbolic universe, using objects well known from our childhood.

The used materials are the automatic machine's gift boxes, that are normally thrown away, and the Christmas tree lights that, apart from Christmas time, are not used at all. The Christmas lights are prepared to be in direct contact with plastic and the boxes have two parts, one transparent and the other coloured, that let light pass through with quite interesting shades.

Both objects can be found in different colours, which allow creating different colour sets, helping decorating surprising environments.
